Welcome to the Study

Welcome and thank you for joining the Sleep Well Be Well study. We want to give families the knowledge and skills to help them manage their child's sleep problem(s). So, we have developed the Sleep Well Be Well mobile app and online sleep guide. To help us understand if these are effective in reducing child sleep problems, we are asking you to try one or both of these digital interventions. Then, in 5 weeks' time, we will ask you some questions about your child's sleep and your experience using the app and/or online sleep guide. To help you decide which digital intervention is best for you, please read below.

The Sleep Well Be Well mobile app

The mobile app provides step-by-step guidance to manage common childhood sleep problems. The app includes two key features:

Sleep Check

The Sleep Check asks you a series of questions to help identify the type of sleep problem(s) your child is experiencing.

Your Plan/My Strategies

Based on your responses in the Sleep Check you will be recommended one or more strategies to help manage your child's sleep problem(s). The Strategies are broken down into daily tasks. You will receive:

  • daily alerts to remind you to complete tasks; and
  • motivational messages to keep you on track.
